I'm thrilled to be back at the lovely Tenuta la Cipresetta--so relaxing surrounded by the forest in Chianti. Mark loves our little apartment. Rosita is like my Italian sister making sure everything is perfect for our stay. We had incredible burrata with the new olive oil from Puglia to start with then lovely veal chops and sauteed artichokes with Rosita's Chianti.

un soggiorno piacevole in un paradiso per chi ama la campagna è perfetta. Una scoperta con la città di Firenze e il ricco patrimonio della Toscana, torneremo a vedere ciò che è stato dimenticato. E noi sceglieremo la Tenuta Cipresseta ovviamente! grazie per il benvenuto

Our last night at Tenuta la Cipresseta :( http://tenutalacipresseta.com. For dinner tonighy we are cleaning out the refrigerator of all the bits and pieces of the wonderful goodies from our day trips-from Greve pancetta, ricotta (sheeps milk) from a farmer we visited the other day artichokes and 2 zucchini. All we need is a protein so we will visit Dario in Panzano for our last bit of beef. If you've not tried his beef it is amazing. We ate a the Officina della Bistecca what a meat feast. Dario and Kim could not be more welcoming. Thanks! Well time to get ready for our winery visit at 10 am!

I just love our apartment at Tenuta la Cipresseta.The views the kitchen and we have our own bedrooms. And Rosita the consumate hostess my Italian mother.
